splinter

snow was already covering her face. she did not dare to open her eyes again. the blade ran along her spine in such a delicate manner while gentle moans left her lips. the seconds felt like little forevers. lonely forevers that finally morphed into something greater.  everything seemed like a splinter of a broken mirror. lost in the other ones but one couldn’t neglect the magic. maybe it isn’t so lost at all..just hidden in between words and sentences and phrases.

the ordinary and the special, dots and lines.

finally she opened her eyes with the help of all bravery she could find in the corridors of her soul. little pearls were running down her cheeks and met in the curve of her chin. in comparison to the black nothing in her head the tiny nightly skyline seemed like a gleaming diamond in the middle of stones.
